Aloha Students, Parents, and Guardians!
A message from Ellen Fujita, Treasurer:
Thank you for supporting the water selling event we had at castle's open house on Wednesday, September 6. Thank you for those that donated water, Karl Karimoto for delivering a large cooler, Diane Broadbent for letting us use your tent, and some of the low brass students for transporting the water to the cafeteria. Kaimana and Gabe were a great help with setting up the area at the café. Thank you to the parents that helped sell the water. These include Marlene McDay and Jani Harada. I appreciated your help with the following band members behind the table from the start - Kanoe, Gabe, Rafe, Chelsey, Kyle, Kaimana, Michael, Maia and Nicholas Y. The students also walked around campus selling quite a lot more! Thank you also to parents, Randy and Leighton for helping with the breakdown and clean up! We sold 112 freezing cold waters, a lot more than the previous year of 89 bottles. Thank you all for making the event a success!
Thank you Ellen for your hard work with this event. You did a great job planning, organizing, AND recruiting all the volunteers!

Parents and students, please come out to help your children and fellow band students raise money for expenses which include buses for parades, music for your program, instrument supplies and repairs just to name a few. Students get to learn the value of working. It promotes team work and team building.
